The survey aims to collect reliable, up-to-date data on the performance and evolution of key ICT sub-sectors, including telecommunications, internet services, broadcasting, and postal and courier services.

The information gathered will:

· Provide an evidence-based foundation for policy and regulatory decision-making

· Identify opportunities for growth and innovation, as well as challenges affecting the sector.

· Support initiatives that promote affordable access, quality of service, and increased digital inclusion for all Emaswati.

Ultimately, the study will enable ESCCOM and key stakeholders to better understand the ICT landscape and formulate strategies that respond effectively to emerging trends and national priorities.

To ensure an independent, credible, and technically sound process, ESCCOM has appointed 360 Degree Business Solutions (360DBS) to conduct the survey on its behalf. The consultant, through data collectors, will be engaging with selected households, businesses and institutions across all four regions of Eswatini. This data collection exercise will commence on 28 May 2026 and continue until the end of June 2026.

The success of the survey depends on the active participation of all stakeholders. ESCCOM therefore encourages members of the public, businesses, and institutions to fully cooperate as this will ensure that the findings accurately reflect the experiences and needs of ICT users and service providers across Eswatini.

Participants are assured that strict confidentiality protocols will be observed throughout the survey process in alignment with the Data Protection Act of 2022. Survey personnel will be easily identifiable through official branded attire and badges, with both the ESCCOM and 360DBS logos, and will carry introduction letters; all credentials that are verifiable with the Commission.

ESCCOM remains committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive ICT sector that continues to serve the needs of all Emaswati in an increasingly digital future.
